Allstate Arena Rosemont Tickets

Allstate Arena events and its Rosemont history

Allstate Arena opened in 1980 and is operated by the Village of Rosemont. Earlier generations knew it as the Rosemont Horizon, a name still associated with the building's place in Chicago-area entertainment. The arena stands on Mannheim Road, close to O'Hare Airport and the region's major expressways.

Hockey is an important part of its identity, but its programme also includes wrestling, ice shows, family entertainment and live music. Fleetwood Mac, Taylor Swift, Metallica and Alicia Keys are among the artists who have performed here. That mix gives the arena a different role from a theatre built around one fixed stage.

Understanding the seating levels

The arena's seating chart separates the lower 100-level sections from the upper 200-level sections. Their row lettering works differently:

• Lower sections begin with double-lettered rows AA through FF, followed by single-lettered rows A through R.
• Upper sections start with row A.
• Seat numbering begins on the left when a spectator stands on the main floor facing the section.

This means row A is not the first listed row in a lower section: the double-lettered rows come before it. In an upper section, A begins the sequence. The section number therefore gives important context to the same row letter.

Main-floor seating changes for individual events, while the two numbered levels identify the arena's surrounding seating areas. A concert floor arrangement and the arrangement for another event can use that central space differently. The venue publishes its own seating charts alongside its event information.

Chicago Wolves home ice

The Chicago Wolves play their home games at Allstate Arena in the American Hockey League. A separate Rosemont Ice Arena has been developed immediately north of the building as the team's practice headquarters. That twin-rink facility serves professional, youth and adult hockey, while Allstate remains the Wolves' home-game venue.
