Ball Arena Denver Tickets

Ball Arena events and the former Pepsi Center

Ball Arena opened in October 1999 with a Celine Dion concert. Originally named Pepsi Center, it became Ball Arena in 2020 following a naming partnership with Colorado-based Ball Corporation. The building brought a new shared home to Denver's major indoor sports teams.

Today it hosts the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth, alongside touring concerts and family shows. Basketball, ice hockey and indoor lacrosse each use the event floor, with separate seating plans published for those sports and for concerts.

Lower, club and upper-level seating

The arena's public seating is organised into three principal levels:

• Lower level: the 100-level sections around the event floor.
• Select Health Club Level: the 200-level seating tier, with its own position between the lower and upper bowls.
• Upper level: the 300-level balcony sections, arranged above the lower tiers.

Sections run clockwise around the arena. Rows begin at the bottom of each section and rise towards the back. Theatre boxes sit above sections 130 and 144, adding another viewing format to the regular seating and suites.

Accessible seating is distributed across the building's levels. The venue's seating information identifies designated locations on the lower, club and upper tiers, as well as floor arrangements that depend on the event configuration.

A shared arena with its own sporting history

The Nuggets played their first game at the new arena against Phoenix in November 1999, winning in overtime. The Avalanche's first regular-season home game here was against Boston the previous month, with Milan Hejduk scoring the arena's first hockey goal.

The venue later staged championship-clinching games for both the Avalanche and Nuggets. Its wider history includes NHL and NBA All-Star events, NCAA championships and the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The concert programme has ranged from the opening Celine Dion performance to artists such as Garth Brooks and Bad Bunny.
