Rugby internationals and competitions
International rugby brings together distinct competitions, from the Six Nations to the Nations Championship. The Six Nations is the annual rugby union championship contested by England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. Home fixtures take supporters to grounds including Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, Scottish Gas Murrayfield, the Principality Stadium and the Aviva Stadium.
The Nations Championship is a separate competition introduced in 2026. Its July and November fixtures bring the Six Nations teams together with Argentina, Australia, Fiji, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa. Results feed into a finals weekend at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, where teams from the two groups meet according to their finishing positions.
Rugby union, league and sevens
Rugby union’s fifteen-a-side game has two halves of forty minutes, with half-time and stoppages adding to the time spent at the ground. The Six Nations and Nations Championship use this format.
Rugby league is a separate code, played with thirteen players on each side. Rugby sevens is a shorter form of union: seven players per side, usually playing two seven-minute halves. A sevens tournament can stage several matches in one session, giving it a different rhythm from a full-length international. The admission described for the session determines which matches the ticket covers.
Choosing a rugby seating area
Touchline seats give a side-on view of both halves of the pitch, making them useful for following the shape of play. Behind-the-posts seats give an end-on perspective of attacks towards the try line and goal kicks. Corner sections sit between those two angles. The stand, tier and row locate the seat more precisely than the ticket’s price category alone.
Hospitality is offered separately from standard admission at many international grounds. The offer describes the match seat and any food, lounge or other services included. TixChoice compares sellers’ ticket options; the purchase is completed with the seller you choose.

How much are Rugby tickets?
Prices depend on the date, the venue and where you sit.
Is it safe to buy Rugby tickets through TixChoice?
TixChoice compares listings from ticket sellers and does not sell tickets itself. You buy from the seller you choose, and each seller sets its own guarantee, refund and delivery terms, so check these before you buy.
Will my Rugby tickets be seated together?
Each listing shows whether its seats are sold together. If you are buying for a group, check this on the listing before you go through to the seller.
Do Rugby ticket prices include fees?
Sellers add booking fees at checkout. Turn on the fees switch on the event page to see each listing's price including fees, so you compare the real total.
Are Rugby tickets cheaper last-minute?
Sometimes. Prices can drop close to the event if seats are left unsold, but there is no guarantee: high demand can push prices up as the date nears.
