TD Garden Boston Tickets

From Boston Garden to TD Garden

TD Garden sits in Boston's West End at 100 Legends Way. Its operators describe it as the iconic "Boston Garden" reimagined and rebuilt, and the arena opened on September 30, 1995, with a sold-out R.E.M. concert. Privately financed, it is owned and operated by Delaware North and is New England's largest sports and entertainment arena.

The design is distinctly vertical. Ellerbe Becket of Kansas City designed a ten-story, 162-foot building on a 3.2-acre site, raised above a five-level MBTA parking garage.

TD Garden events and home teams

The arena is home to the Boston Bruins, one of the NHL's Original Six, and the NBA's Boston Celtics, and its anniversary history highlights championship banners raised to the rafters. Seating capacity differs between hockey and basketball. Beyond the home teams, the arena stages concerts, family shows, wrestling and ice shows.

Heritage events staged here include:

• The 1996 NHL All-Star Game and WrestleMania XIV in 1998
• NCAA Frozen Fours in 1998, 2004 and 2015, plus the 2006 NCAA Women's Final Four
• U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials in 1996 and 2000
• The 2004 Democratic National Convention
• The 2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships
• Stanley Cup Finals in 2011, 2013 and 2019, and NBA Finals in 2008, 2010, 2022 and 2024

Reading the TD Garden seating plan

The bowl is organized by level. Loge sections are on Level 4, suites on Level 5 and Balcony sections such as 304 and 306 on Level 7, while a Rafters area sits on Level 9. Accessible seating is offered on every level, with exact locations varying by event, and TD Garden's Seat View Finder charts give section-level detail.

Premium spaces fall under the Boston Garden Society: executive suites, club seating, The Cross Insurance Boardroom, The Lofts, Ford SportsDeck, Heineken Star Club, Jameson Lounge and Rapid7 Rafters. Members share Society Provisions, a revitalized hub with a high-end bar and made-to-order food, and use dedicated elevators linking every arena level with the North Station Parking Garage.

Renovations and the Sports Museum

In 2014 Delaware North invested in an arena-wide renovation that redesigned the concourses, added new concession offerings and upgraded technology. The Jacobs family's privately funded Legendary Transformation began in 2017 and added space on all levels. A new Hub Vision scoreboard and a Clair Global audio upgrade using Cohesion Series CO10 loudspeakers extended that project.

Levels 5 and 6 house The Sports Museum, a non-profit founded in 1977, whose half-mile of exhibits traces Boston sports history, including the teams that play here.

Getting to TD Garden

Elevators from the North Station Concourse, The Hub On Causeway and the North Station Parking Garage reach Level 2, where two elevators serve every arena level. Logan International Airport, the closest airport, is less than four miles away and reachable by public transportation. There is no designated drop-off point in front of the arena, so include a cross street when arranging a Causeway Street pickup. For more nights out, browse concerts on TixChoice.
