Wembley Stadium tickets and seating guide

The present Wembley Stadium opened in 2007 on the site of the earlier stadium. Its programme includes England matches, domestic football finals, rugby league and concerts. The venue’s stadium facts explain that range; an event title alone does not establish a particular seating layout or supporter allocation.

Choose the event before comparing a block. A football final can divide supporters into separate areas, while a concert can place a stage and audience on parts of the pitch. The same numbered block can therefore relate to a different activity on the floor.

Reading the numbered levels

Wembley’s maps and access guidance use the first digit of the block or box number to identify the level:

• Level 1 uses blocks beginning with one.
• Level 2 uses blocks beginning with two.
• Levels 3 and 4 include boxes beginning with three or four.
• Level 5 uses blocks beginning with five.

Keep the full block, row and seat alongside that level. A description of a broad stadium tier does not show exactly where the ticket is located, and a box number should not be mistaken for a general seating block.

Can you move between levels?

The stadium’s movement policy restricts access between levels. Level 1 and Level 5 visitors do not have general access to other levels, while the policy groups Levels 2, 3 and 4 together.

This matters for groups comparing tickets in different parts of the stadium. Do not assume you can meet inside another level or move to a companion’s section after entering. Arrange meeting points before entry and choose locations that match the experience your group wants.

Football and concert layouts

For a football match, establish the team allocation and any supporter conditions for the section. A neutral-looking stadium diagram does not override the allocation for a final or international fixture. Use the event organiser’s guidance and the exact ticket conditions.

For concerts, Wembley’s layout guidance states that illustrated plans are examples and each event is specific. Distinguish assigned bowl seating from the floor arrangement described for your show. Standing admission and a reserved floor seat are different ticket types.

Planning the visit and access requirements

Follow the entrance and turnstile information supplied for your event. Check the current bag policy and transport arrangements before travelling, particularly when arranging a return connection after a major event. A generic stadium guide cannot predict the crowd-management instructions for every date.

If you need accessible seating, discuss the viewing position, route, companion arrangement and facilities with the venue or event ticketing team before choosing an offer. A lift route and a seat location answer different questions; confirm both rather than inferring suitability from the level number.
