YouTube Theater Inglewood Tickets

YouTube Theater events at Hollywood Park

YouTube Theater opened in August 2021 as part of the Hollywood Park development in Inglewood. The indoor venue presents concerts, comedy, awards shows, boxing and esports, adding a theatre-scale performance space to the wider sports and entertainment destination.

Although it shares a roof canopy with SoFi Stadium, the theatre has its own enclosed auditorium. It occupies the southern end of the structure and connects with the stadium through American Airlines Plaza. The arrangement brings different event spaces together within one development.

The blue drum and tiered auditorium

HKS designed a rounded blue structure to contain the stage and seating bowl. A glass-fronted exterior and sweeping balcony surround it, allowing the central form to be seen from the plaza. After dark, light from within gives the building a lantern-like appearance.

Inside, a fan-shaped bowl arranges the audience around the stage. Curved concourses allow visitors to circulate around the blue drum before entering the auditorium. The venue can also adjust its audience configuration for different productions, supporting smaller performances within the same theatre.

The public levels include the orchestra, plaza and balcony. East and west elevators connect those levels, while access to the lowest floor uses a separate assisted route. The tiered layout is distinct from the much larger stadium bowl next door.

Sound, lighting and interior design

Acoustic treatment is built into the room. Fabric-covered surfaces and wall panels help control reflected sound, while a bass trap at the rear of the bowl limits sound transmission outside. The design combines that acoustic approach with a lighting sky grid and flexible theatrical rigging above the stage.

The interiors mix contemporary and mid-century influences, using jewel colours, geometric patterns and metallic finishes. Local artwork features in the foyers and circulation areas, alongside bars and lounge spaces. For the adjacent sporting venue, explore SoFi Stadium tickets.

Inglewood identity and arriving at the venue

A mural at the west entrance, introduced for the theatre's fifth anniversary, celebrates Inglewood's community and landmarks. Its imagery includes musicians, athletes and everyday neighbourhood scenes, connecting the newer venue with the city around it.

YouTube Theater's visitor address is 1011 Stadium Drive, Inglewood. The venue publishes parking and rideshare approaches within Hollywood Park, where the theatre, plaza and stadium occupy separate parts of the same site.
