About Aston Villa vs Everton Tickets

Aston Villa against Everton brings two Football League founders together at Villa Park. Compare available seats and prices to find your place for a fixture rooted in the earliest league campaigns, from the Holte End to a view along the touchline.

Both clubs were among the founding members of the Football League in 1888. Villa director William McGregor played a central role in creating the competition and supported Everton’s inclusion. The idea replaced an uncertain programme of friendlies with a regular home-and-away structure, giving the clubs a shared place in the game’s development.

Their first league encounters took place at grounds that predate the fixture’s modern setting. Villa hosted Everton at Perry Barr, while the return was played at Anfield, then Everton’s home. Those origins explain why this pairing carries a historical connection beyond the clubs’ later stadiums and changing teams.

Gareth Barry’s connection with both clubs

Barry made his Villa debut in May 1998 and later represented Everton, Manchester City and West Bromwich Albion. His long career included a Premier League title with City before retirement in 2020. For Villa and Everton supporters, he provides a direct playing link between the clubs as well as a connection to different periods of top-flight football.

At Villa Park, the Holte End, Trinity Road Stand, Doug Ellis Stand and North Stand frame the pitch. Choose the perspective that matters to you before comparing prices: a touchline position follows the shape of the game across the pitch, while an end seat centres the action around a goal.

Villa Park seating guide

The Holte End and North Stand sit behind the goals, with the Trinity Road and Doug Ellis stands along the sides. These named areas give Villa Park distinct end-on and touchline perspectives rather than one uniform viewing angle.

A central long-side block follows movement across the width and length of the pitch; a place towards a corner adds a diagonal perspective on attacks. Within each stand, the stated tier and row refine that broad choice. Compare the exact location and supporter area alongside the asking price, especially when deciding between an end stand and a seat closer to the halfway line.
