About Brentford vs Arsenal Tickets

Brentford vs Arsenal returns to the pairing that opened the Bees’ Premier League story in 2021. At the Gtech Community Stadium, comparing prices across the touchline stands and goal ends lets you choose a view for a London meeting with a memorable place in the home club’s history.

The Bees earned that first Premier League season by beating Swansea City in the Championship play-off final at Wembley. When Arsenal visited for their competition debut, Brentford won with goals from Sergi Canós and Christian Nørgaard. It was a striking opening to life in the Premier League and a significant first chapter at the club’s new home.

Arsenal bring a different set of league memories. Their unbeaten run stretched across 49 league matches, beginning late in the 2002/03 season and ending in October 2004. Arsène Wenger’s side also finished runners-up in 2004/05, with another strong scoring campaign at Highbury. Those years remain part of the visitors’ identity alongside Brentford’s much later arrival in the competition.

A modern ground near Brentford’s beginnings

Brentford’s formation grew out of meetings involving rowing and cricket club members in 1889. The Oxford and Cambridge pub near Kew Bridge was central to discussions that led to the choice of association football. The club’s modern matchday setting remains within the same west London district.

The Gtech’s angular form reflects a site bounded by the M4 and railway lines. AFL Architects arranged four stands within that triangular footprint, with the new ground chosen instead of redevelopment at Griffin Park. The stadium’s hexagonal interior motifs also reference the Bees, connecting a modern design with the club’s identity. Compare another visiting side through Brentford vs Manchester City tickets.

Gtech Community Stadium seating guide

The West Stand, beside Lionel Road South, is Brentford’s home safe-standing end. East Stand blocks face it across the length of the pitch, with visiting supporters based on that side. These positions give a goal-end or diagonal perspective rather than a view along the touchline.

North and South stands run down the two sides. The South Stand has the dugouts in front and blocks at different levels; North faces it across the field. A central side position makes the movement between both halves easier to follow, while an end block brings one goalmouth into the foreground.
