About Coventry vs Ipswich Tickets

Choose your place at the Coventry Building Society Arena as the Sky Blues host Ipswich Town. With separate home and away concourses and a range of stands around the pitch, compare available seats and prices to find the matchday position that suits you. Both clubs bring notable cup-winning chapters to this fixture.

Coventry’s Wembley landmark came in 1987 against Tottenham. Keith Houchen’s diving header supplied the final’s enduring image, and Gary Mabbutt’s own goal in extra time completed the Sky Blues’ victory. The success gave Coventry a place among the FA Cup winners and a national football memory that still identifies the club beyond its home city.

Ipswich’s European highlight came under Bobby Robson in 1981. Town reached the UEFA Cup final after progressing past Saint-Étienne and Köln, then overcame AZ Alkmaar across the two legs. Frans Thijssen scored in both matches, with John Wark and Paul Mariner also on target at Portman Road.

That campaign gives the visitors a continental honour to set alongside Coventry’s domestic cup landmark. The finalists were both first-time participants at that stage, and Ipswich’s success came through a team built by Robson rather than an established European power. Their victory remains a distinctive part of the Suffolk club’s identity.

The Arena’s seating plan separates Family, Premium and West Stand hospitality areas. Start with the visit you want, then compare the precise stand, block and row against the quoted price rather than treating every seat as interchangeable.

Coventry Building Society Arena seating guide

The South Stand accommodates visiting supporters and has no internal concourse connection to the other stands. Home concourses continue through the East and North sides. The club identifies a retail point centrally in the East Stand.

The Family Zone is identified in Blocks 31–34, while Blocks 19–21 form the Premium Zone. West Stand hospitality areas are marked separately, and licensed-standing sections appear as their own category in the stadium plan.

Choose by supporter area and seating category, then use the block and row to compare the actual position. Those details distinguish different parts of the ground.
