About Leeds United vs Coventry City Tickets

Leeds United face Coventry City at Elland Road, with the John Charles West Stand overlooking the tunnel and dugouts. Compare available seats and prices for a fixture with a familiar shared figure in Gordon Strachan, whose career links important chapters at both clubs.

Strachan joined Leeds from Manchester United in 1989 while the Whites were in the Second Division. He played throughout the promotion campaign and scored against Leicester in the final home match as the club secured its return to the top flight. Two seasons later, he captained Leeds to the league title.

He then joined Coventry in 1995, initially with a coaching role that led to him becoming player-manager. Working alongside Ron Atkinson was part of the attraction, and Strachan returned to playing as well as coaching. His playing and coaching career gives both clubs a shared figure in their history.

Leeds’ honours span several eras. Their top-flight championships include the Revie years and the title won by Strachan’s side, while the club also won the FA Cup in 1972 and the League Cup in 1968. European history also includes Inter-Cities Fairs Cup victories and appearances in the European Cup and Cup Winners’ Cup finals. Those achievements remain part of the home club’s identity when supporters return to Elland Road.

Elland Road seating guide

The East Stand contains Leeds’ family area, intended for adults attending with concessions. It is a home-support section with adjoining seats required when a booking includes a child. This offers a different setting from the North and South Stands.

Those North and South home stands are described by Leeds as the stadium’s busiest and most vocal areas. Rail seating is available in the North Upper. Coventry’s away supporters occupy the south end of the John Charles West Stand.

The stand and tier help distinguish the atmosphere and perspective. Choose your supporter section first, then compare the available blocks and rows.
