Data Control and Deletion Instructions

How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of personal information associated with your TixChoice account, email address, or Meta app connection at any time.
- Email hello@tixchoice.com from the email address associated with your TixChoice or Meta login.
- Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include your full name if available, the email address used with TixChoice, and whether the request relates to Meta Login, waitlist data, or another TixChoice feature.
- Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or sensitive identity documents unless we specifically request a verification step.
Meta App Data Deletion
If you connected to TixChoice through Facebook, Instagram, or another Meta product, you can remove TixChoice from your Meta account settings and request deletion of data we received from Meta.
- Go to your Meta account settings and remove TixChoice from Apps and Websites where available.
- Send a deletion request to hello@tixchoice.com with the subject "Meta Data Deletion Request".
- We will verify the request against the email address or platform identifier available to us.
- After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible Meta-derived data from active systems unless we are legally required or permitted to retain limited records.
What We Delete
- Profile identifiers, email address, name, and other profile data received through a permitted Meta login or app permission.
- Waitlist records, notification preferences, saved event preferences, and support records where deletion is legally and operationally permitted.
- Internal links between your TixChoice profile and connected Meta account data.
What May Be Retained
Some limited information may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, tax or accounting records, backup integrity, or to document that a deletion request was completed. Where retention is necessary, we restrict use of that information and delete or anonymize it when no longer needed.
Timing
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete verified requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law, technical backup cycles, fraud prevention, or complex request verification. We will tell you if more time is needed.
Confirmation
After completing a verified deletion request, we will send confirmation to the requesting email address where possible. If we cannot locate data matching your request, we will tell you that no matching active record was found.
