About Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United Tickets

See Brighton & Hove Albion take on Newcastle United at the Amex, the permanent home Albion reached in 2011. Its setting beside the South Downs gives the ground a distinctive architectural backdrop; compare available seats and prices to choose your place for the match.

The clubs share a promotion chapter from 2017, when both rose from the Championship. Newcastle took the title on the final day ahead of Brighton, after Rafael Benítez’s side had won a significant meeting at the Amex earlier in the year. Their encounters had already included Brighton FA Cup victories there in 2012 and 2013.

For Albion, the home win over Wigan in April 2017 is a lasting promotion memory. Solly March scored what proved to be the winner for Chris Hughton’s team, with confirmation following Huddersfield’s draw against Derby. Celebrations spread from the dressing room to the supporters as Premier League football became a reality.

That modern milestone sits far from the club’s beginning in 1901. Albion were formed after a meeting at Brighton’s Seven Stars pub, with John Jackson seeking to keep Southern League football in the area. The original plain blue shirt preceded the stripes now associated with the club.

Amex Stadium seating guide

The West Stand includes a tunnel club beneath the seating, part of the stadium’s hospitality offering. KSS also redesigned the 1901 Club lounges, so a named lounge package and a general seat describe different ways to attend at the same ground.

The stadium distinguishes upper seating on the East and West sides from the lower areas. Compare the tier and row to understand the offered location; the East Lower also has a concourse aimed at families.

North Stand safe standing gives home supporters another admission arrangement. It is useful to distinguish that category from seated options when comparing the available sections.
