About Hull City vs Nottingham Forest Tickets

Hull City’s Wembley promotion history meets Nottingham Forest’s European Cup heritage at the MKM Stadium. Compare available seats and prices to find your preferred view, from the West Stand’s upper tier to a lower position around the bowl.

The Tigers made their first step into the top flight in 2008, when Dean Windass’s volley against Bristol City decided the Championship play-off final. Phil Brown’s side carried that Wembley success back to Hull, giving the club a defining achievement in its modern history.

Forest’s European honours belong to the Brian Clough era. In 1980 they retained the European Cup at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu, beating Hamburg in a final remembered for John Robertson’s goal and Peter Shilton’s saves. Their route had included Ajax in the semi-finals. That victory followed their first European crown and established consecutive success in the continent’s leading club competition.

Michael Dawson’s Hull and Forest career

Michael Dawson began his senior journey at Nottingham Forest before joining Tottenham in January 2005. He later left Spurs for Hull in August 2014 and helped the Tigers earn promotion to the Premier League. His career eventually returned to Forest, providing a playing link between the two clubs represented in this fixture.

Dawson also captained Tottenham and played for England, including selection for the 2010 World Cup squad. His path connects Forest’s academy background, Hull’s promotion years and experience at international level, rather than a single meeting between the sides.

The MKM Stadium opened in 2002, replacing Boothferry Park as Hull’s home. Explore Nottingham Forest tickets for more of the visitors’ schedule. TixChoice compares sellers; the purchase is completed with your chosen seller.

MKM Stadium seating guide

The ground’s asymmetrical bowl has an upper tier on the West Stand, providing a higher alternative to the main seating level. It sits beside West Park and was conceived as a shared arena for football and rugby league, rather than a ground used by Hull City alone.

Hull’s wheelchair platforms have lift access and direct access to the concourse. Pitchside wheelchair bays provide a lower viewing position, while corner entrances offer pitch-level access for ambulant supporters. The club’s accessibility statement distinguishes these arrangements, so the precise viewing platform or bay is useful information when choosing a location. Discuss the required access route with Hull before booking an accessible place.
